Descripción: Dear Sir/Madam,
My name is Bina and I am currently living in Valencia. I am married to a British citizen who holds permanent residency (long-term NIE) in Spain. I have been living in the country since October 2023, but I am currently in an irregular situation. I am very depressed because of this. My previous lawyer misguided me and messed up my application which got rejected. I don't wish to be irregular as I would like to be able to work and support myself. I don't wish to go back to my country that is Pakistan, because there are not much women's rights over there. I cannot even go for a walk there, and I have seen how many rights a woman like me enjoy in Spain. I have been able to walk without men staring at me or following me.
I have read that with the recent changes to Spain¿s immigration laws (May 2025), I may be eligible to apply for residency through the arraigo familiar process. I would like to know if the Spanish Red Cross can offer me free legal advice to begin this process and ensure I submit everything correctly.
Would it be possible to arrange an appointment with one of your lawyers or legal advisors?
Thank you very much for your time and support.

-Bina
