Political Persecution and Refugee Claims: Your Guidance Appreciated

Descripción: Hello,
Please advise if I have chances to seek a refugee status on grounds of political persecution with this situation:
I'm currently residing in Spain with a student visa for a couple of months, entered the country from a third country (not from my country of citizenship). I cannot go back to my country of citizenship as I've been working with pro-democracy and anti-war NGOs and media that faced government repressions and persecution.

Yes, you can do it. It is posible. You must explain to Police when you are asking for asylum in Spain the reasons for why you leaved your country and why you did't ask for asylum in this third country.
