Apply for asylum at the end of my visa

Descripción: My name is Basmala, and I am reaching out to seek urgent assistance regarding my humanitarian situation and potential asylum procedures. I am currently in Spain and find myself in a critical and challenging position that requires immediate support and guidance.

Personal Background: I come from a middle-class family in Egypt. My father suffers from severe neurological dysfunction, memory loss, and partial paralysis due to a medical error during a surgery. This has placed a significant financial and emotional burden on my family. Despite these hardships, I worked diligently and excelled academically, eventually attending Maadi STEM School and the Faculty of Pharmacy at Cairo University.

Recently, I had the opportunity to study for one semester at Valladolid University Palencia campus. This experience has deepened my passion for my studies and confirmed my desire to continue my education in Spain.

Current Crisis: My visa is set to expire on August 14th, and returning to Egypt poses severe challenges due to the country's deteriorating conditions, such as frequent power outages, water shortages, and unreliable internet access. These issues critically hinder my ability to study and plan for my future.

Given my situation, I am facing the prospect of having to stay illegally in Spain to continue my education and secure a better future. However, I am eager to find a legal and safe way to remain here, and I am willing to work while studying to support myself.

Request for Assistance: I am urgently seeking your assistance with:

Humanitarian Aid: Guidance and support in obtaining humanitarian aid to sustain my living and educational expenses.
Asylum Procedures: Information on how to apply for asylum or international protection based on my personal circumstances and the crisis in Egypt.
Legal Support: Any available legal advice to help extend my stay in Spain legally while I continue my education.

My advance: if you can go to The Red Cross in Palencia, go there and ask for an appointment with the lawyer. The Red Cross works with asylum seekers and there are a legal service that could help you. In fact, you should find the answers you need for your special situation.
