Request for Help Regarding Urgent Medical Needs

Descripción: Last November, I went to a police station to apply for asylum. But until now, I still haven¿t received any notice for an interview.

At first, I was willing to wait patiently. However, my worsening health condition is making me increasingly anxious. I really don¿t know what to do, so I have no choice but to write this letter and ask for your help. If I am disturbing you with this message, I sincerely apologize.

I have a lump on my body that has been there for ten years. A few years ago, I had an ultrasound, and the doctor said it was just a piece of fat, so I didn¿t worry too much. But this year, I started feeling pain from the lump sometimes, and it has become very hard. I¿m really afraid that it may have turned into something serious, like cancer.

Also, this year, my legs often swell for no clear reason, and there are many brown and red spots on my feet. I often feel tired and weak. I am very worried about my health, but I don¿t have the money to see a doctor.

My passport has expired, but I¿m too afraid to go to the embassy of my original country to renew it because of the persecution. Also, because of my expired passport, I can¿t get residential registration or a health card, which makes it very hard for me to get medical help. I feel very helpless and don¿t know what to do.

Could you please give me some advice? Is there any way I can get free medical treatment? Maybe my request is a bit too much, but right now, I¿m only surviving by doing small temporary jobs. I really don¿t have the money to pay for expensive medical bills. I hope you can understand.

You can access free healthcare as an immigrant even if you do not have a residency permit. You can contact free information phone number 012 to find out about the requirements or contact the Médicos del Mundo (Doctors of the World) organization as they help with access to healthcare, this is their contact information: +34 91 543 60 33 | informacion@medicosdelmundo.org

I also recommend that you go to a Red Cross office to ask for guidance regarding your asylum request. They will be able to help you figure out what the next steps would be and see if we can offer you any other type of help in your situation.
