Descripción: I have just received a date for my first asylum interview and asked to bring with my passport + passport-size photos + statement of allegations. Can you clarify what is meant by statement of allegations? and if I might need legal help with that?
Thank you

Enunciado de respuesta: Dear Sir: "Statement of allegations" means you can write down your story, the reasons made you leave your country, the most important risks you have experienced there in Sudan the last months/years before you left. You can also add evidences such as photos, documents or witness statements. It would be interesting to prepare the allegations with a lawyer. You can ask for it at Cruz Roja or other NGOs such as CEAR, for example. https://www.cruzroja.es/principal/web/comunidad-de-madrid/donde-estamos Anyways, in case you don't get a lawyer vefore the interview, just you to know after that interview you can also complete your case with help of a lawyer.
