Protection for Ukrainians

Descripción: Hi, my name is Liia.
I am from Ukraine. After the war in Ukraine started I went to the UK, but due to family situation in December 2023 I moved to Spain. I applied for temporary protection for Ukrainians but my request was rejected based on visa in the UK. My appointment was quite late so I missed 90 visa free days of stay in EU by the day of the appointment. I now can¿t go back to the UK and I can¿t find job in Spain due to not having documents. I need help with this situation please.

Hi Lilia,

In order to give you a full answer to your problem, I recomend to ask for an appointment in Red Cross Madrid. If you have a resident in UK due to the war, first, you have to reject that one and later, you could ask a temporary protection in Spain. If you want to ask for the general resident, we need to be in the country minimum 24 months to start with legal proccess.
