Passport in embassy

Descripción: Respected, My new passport is at the embassy. I should collect it, but since I have a criminal conviction in my country, am I putting myself at risk by going to the embassy in terms of possible detention? Can I authorize a lawyer to collect my passport? Thanks in advance.

Good morning, 

I can not help you about this question, because i dont know exactly the law of Serbia. I recomended you to search a lawyer from your country to help you with this process and explain him/her the case. I dont know as well the what is your criminal conviction and which are the consecuences.
